The goal of this build was to build a high-end, professional instrument while incorporating many classic characteristics. The 3 colour sunburst/alder body combo provides a classic balance of warmth and brightness and ensures longevity. A classic SSS pickup combination provides complexity, brightness and rich timbres while the left-handed maple with rosewood neck adds a custom layer of complexity. Specialized specs, such as a nitrocellulose finish, Stainless Steel frets, '57 CS/HW (Celina Garcia) Handwounded Pickups with a reverse bridge angle and '53 Nocaster original capacitor, ensure that this guitar will mature and become a prized, vintage instrument as it ages. The "Kinjo" is the perfect embodiment of a modern design merged with vintage soul, in form, playability and tonality.
